We are so grateful to all our guests, and we particularly appreciate the effort made by those of you traveling from out-of-town to share in our marriage celebration.

We hope the information below makes your stay a wonderful experience.

If we can be of further assistance to you, don't hesitate to contact Debbie dmayfield86@hotmail.com or Keith by email at mayfieldka@erols.com. When and if you are emailing either please put "Summer and Jesse" in subject line so they don't think you're junk mail.

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS

Traveling by Air:
It is whatever you all choose. I would suggest American or UsAir...they are normally the cheapest.  Southwest Airlines are also a good one.  You can also inquire through CheapTickets.com or Orbitz.com.  If pickup is needed from the airport, let us know in advance and accommodations will be made.

Traveling by Car:
I would recommend coming the northern route this time of year, cause it is hurricane season in the southern areas...and we don't want you flooded out!!!

RENTAL CAR ARRANGEMENTS:
We have a lot of rental places around here. Just let me know...and I will throw some numbers....Budget, Avis, Local companies.  Phone numbers will be updated soon.

LOCAL ACCOMMODATIONS

General Accommodation Details:
We have a couple hotels we are looking into...to see if we can get some 'block' rates. We will keep you updated.

Accommodation Option 1:

Accommodation Type: Mid-Priced
Holiday Inn of Solomans
155 Holiday Drive
Solomans Island, MD
(410) 326-6311

We can have a block of 15 rooms at this location if enough people choose to stay here at a rate of $94.00 or lower a night.
Book by Date: August 20, 2003
Comments: The price could go down...that is just the quote I got for the summer months. There is a possibility that it could go down. At this particular hotel it is minimum of 15 rooms. It is found in the quaint waterfront town of Solomans Island, with wonderful restraints such as DiGiovonis and also shops where you can bring home some of Maryland with you!

Accommodation Option 2: We will be blocking off rooms here.

Accommodation Type: Budget
Sleep Inn
Three Notch Road
California, MD 20653
(301) 737-0000

We have a block of 10 rooms at this location.
Book by Date: August 20, 2003
Comments: As said above, prices could go down, these are the summer month rates. The Sleep Inn, is located about 5 miles north of Patuxent River Naval Air station, where you can view the aeronautics museum and just a hop skip and a jump down from St. Mary's City, where you can learn about the history of the first settlers.

Accommodation Option 3:

Accommodation Type: Mid-Priced
Fairfield Inn Lexington Park
22119 Three Notch Road
Lexington Park, MD 20653
Phone #

The Fairfield inn is located down the street from the Hampton inn, and right across from the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.  We will be updating the Fairfield-Marriott information once the hotel is done.  Local restaurants along with a few miles from Point Lookout. History all over St Mary's County, that is worth driving for.

Accommodation Option 4:

Accommodation Type: Mid-Priced
Best Western of Lexington Park
22769 Three Notch Road
California, MD 20619
301-862-4100

The Best Western is close to Wal-Mart, along with a few fast food and dine in restaurants. This hotel also has a out-door pool located on the premises. It will still be warm this time of year, so you may want to bring your swimsuit.
